2,914 new Covid-19 infections in Delhi, takes tally to 1,85,220

The national capital on Friday reported 2,914 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Delhi to 1,85,220, according to the Delhi government's health department.

This is the highest single-day spike of Covid-19 cases recorded in the capital in 68 days



(more than two months).

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi includes 18,842 active cases. As 13 deaths were reported in the national capital in the last 24 hours, the toll has climbed to 4,513.

Meanwhile, the count of recovered, discharged or migrated cases reached to 1,61,865.
