3,493 new cases of COVID-19 reports in Maharashtra in 24 hurs

With 3,493 new cases of novel coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours, the total number of cases in Maharashtra has reached 1,01,141. With this, Maharashtra has become the first state in the country to cross the 1 lakh-mark.

The total number of active cases in the state stands at 49,616, with 1,718 Covid-19 positive



people discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries in the state so far to 47,796. As many as 127 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported from Maharashtra in the past one day.

The recovery rate in Maharashtra is currently at 47.3 per cent while the death rate is at 3.7 per cent.
