359 new Covid-19 cases reported in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 359 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,854 and the total number of positive cases to 6,54,394. The number of active cases in Telangana, as of Friday, was 6,728.

On Friday, authorities conducted 73,899 Covid tests of which results of 769 samples were awaited. A total of 494 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.38 per cent on Friday. So far, a total of 2,38,19,727 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,54,394 have tested positive and 6,43,812 persons have recovered.

from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 74 from areas under GHMC,14 from Jagtiyal, six each from Jangaon and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, one from Jogulamba Gadwal, 29 from Karimnagar, 15 from Khammam, two from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, four from Mahabubnagar, 14 from Mahabubabad, seven from Mancherial, three from Medak, 17 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, five from Mulugu, three from Nagarkurnool, 25 from Nalgonda, six from Nizamabad, 12 from Peddapalli, five from Rajanna Siricilla, 24 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, 14 from Siddipet, 13 from Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, seven from Warangal Rural, 24 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Yadadri Bhongir.
