38,083 new Covid-19 cases in Karnataka

Karnataka on Thursday recorded 38,083 new Covid-19 cases along with 49 deaths. The positivity rate of the state was at 20.44%.

The capital, Bengaluru

alone logged 17,717 new infections with 12 related deaths. Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar also confirmed 185 new Omicron cases in Bengaluru taking the overall tally of the State to 1,115.
