404 new Coronavirus cases reported in Bihar

In Bihar the number of positive cases of Coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly. 404 new cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in the last 24 hours,taking the tally to 11,864. Out of these 8,765 patients have been cured and they have been discharged from hospitals and 3008 are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.The state has a recovery rate 74 percent. Death due to Corona has mounted to 91.

The Director in Chief of Health services Dr.Navin Chandra Prasad and his personal



staff  were tested positive.The Director of IGIMS,Patna  Dr Manish Mandal was also tested positive.The director along with 12 other doctors were sent for home quarantine.

Meanwhile the state government has ordered closure of all Shiva temples across the state in view of the Corona pandemic during the month of Sawan.Shravani mela will not be also organised.The state government has advised devotees to perform  puja  in their home.
