412 new coronavirus cases reported in Telangana

Telangana reported 412 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours. This is for the first time that the state reported over 400 during the past few months. With this, the number of COVID cases that the state reported so far has gone up to 3 lakh 3 thousand 867 while over 2 lakh 99 thousand have recovered. The state recorded 98.41 percent recoveries. COVID-19 in the state taking the toll to 16674.

 

Meanwhile, COVID Vaccination programme is underway in Telangana and over 9 lakh 68 thousand people have been vaccinated so far in the state. They include over 2 lakh 90 thousand people who are above 60 years of age and over one lakh 32 thousand people who are above 45 years with comorbidities.
