4,140 patients recovered from Covid-19 in Bihar

In Bihar, 4,140 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the past 24 hours. This is the highest single day recovery in the past one week. Altogether, 76 thousand 706 patients have recovered so far. Presently, 29 thousand 369 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. The recovery rate of Bihar stands at 72 per cent. With reporting of fresh 2,525cases, the number of positive cases mounted to one lakh 6,618 while with five deaths COVID



toll shot up to 542. 

Highest number of 303 positive cases were reported from Patna taking the cumulative figures to 16,925, the highest in the state followed by 4,387 in Muzaffarpur and 4,229 in Bhagalpur. Over one lakh seven thousand tests were conducted for Covid-19, taking the total number of tests conducted in the state so far to over 17 lakh 87 thousand.
