In Jharkhand, the number of patients recovered surpassed the number of patients detected in the last 24 hours. While 44 new cases were confirmed, 122 patients won the battle against COVID-19. The recovery rate in the state has now gone up to 57.11 per cent, after a total of 1,032 recovered patients discharged from hospitals.
A total of 1,807 cases have been found positive, 766 active cases are undergoing treatment
in various hospitals, while nine people died due to COVID-19 infection. The mortality rate in Jharkhand is as low as 0.49 per cent.
Principal Health Secretary Dr Nitin Kulkarni told that there was no pendency left for testing of samples. He said, the state has a capacity of testing 3,000 samples per day and around 2,800 samples are being tested daily.
