470 fresh Covid-19 cases, two fatalities in UAE

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Monday reported 470 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 438 recoveries. Two deaths were also reported.

Over 57,500 new Covid-19 tests were carried out, the ministry said, taking the total to more than 7.5 million tests so



far.

On Sunday, the UAE recorded its highest number of Covid-19 recoveries in a day, pinning the country's recovery rate at 89 per cent, one of the highest in the world. The health ministry announced yesterday that 2,443 patients were cured of the infection in the last 24 hours and no fatalities were reported.
