514 fresh COVID-19 cases found in Gujarat

Gujarat health department said that 514 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the state on Monday, taking the total number of cases to 24,104, while the toll rose to 1,506 as 28 patients succumbed to the infection.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Ahmedabad rose by 327 to 16,967 on Monday while the fatalities mounted by 23 to 1,210 in the district, state



Health department said, according to PTI. A total of 225 patients recovered in Ahmedabad district in the day, taking the overall tally to 11,822 or around 70 per cent of the total patients, it stated. 

Areas under Ahmedabad district panchayat reported 34 new cases, taking the total number of cases to 605 out of which 390, or 64 per cent have been discharged.
