551 new Covid-19 cases reported in Telangana

Telangana registered 551 fresh coronavirus positive cases and one death until 8 pm on Thursday taking the total number of cases to 2,00,195 while the fatalities to 1,506. The recovery cases on the other hand went up to 2,00,195 with 602 recoveries on a single day. At present, there are 7,040 active cases out of which 4,955 are in home or institutional isolation.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, around 47,991 samples were tested including 21,116 on primary contacts and 5,750 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 551 cases turned positive and the reports of 512 are awaited. So far, 63,54,388 tests have been conducted in the state.

reported across the state include 111 from GHMC, 48 from Rangareddy, 42 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 31 from Warangal Urban, 24 from Karimnagar, 23 from Sangareddy, 21 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 19 from Khammam, 18 from Siddipet, 16 from Nalgonda, 15 from Mancherial, 14 from Nizamabad, 13 from Yadadri Bhongir, 12 from Peddapalli, 11 each from Jagtial and Warangal Rural, 10 each from Mulugu and Mahabubabad, 9 each from Vikarabad, Suryapet and Mahabubnagar, 8 each from Adilabad and Komarambheem Asifabad, 7 each from Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Rajanna Sircilla, 6 each from Wanaparthy and Nirmal, 3 from Kamareddy, 2 from Jogulamba Gadwal and one from Narayanpet.
