565 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Telangana

Telangana state registered 565 fresh coronavirus positive cases and one death until 8 pm on Tuesday pushing the total cases tally to 2,70,883 and the fatalities to 1,462. Meanwhile, the recovery cases went up to 2,60,155 with fresh 925 recoveries in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 9,266 active cases out of which 7,219 are in home or institutional isolation.

Between Monday and Tuesday, around 51,562 tests were conducted including 22,607 on primary contacts and 6,187 on secondary contacts. 

However, the result of 565 samples turned positive and the reports of 616 are awaited. The positive cases reported in the state



include 106 from GHMC, 43 from Rangareddy, 42 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 31 from Nalgonda, 29 from Karimnagar, 25 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 23 from Warangal Urban, 21 from Khammam, 18 from Mancherial, 17 from Siddipet, 15 from Sangareddy, 14 from Mulugu, 13 from Nirmal, 12 each from Medak, Mahabubabad and Rajanna Sircilla, 11 each from Jagtial, Suryapet, Nizamabad, 10 each from Peddapalli, Nagarkurnool, 9 from Yadadri Bhongir, 8 each from Warangal Rural, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, 7 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Adilabad, 6 each from Vikarabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, 4 from Wanaparthy and one from Narayanpet.
