In Nagaland, 61 people tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday taking the total number of affected people to 11,479 in the State. Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet informed that 35 cases were reported from Kohima, 22 from Dimapur and two each from Wokha and Zunheboto. 

He also added that eight corona patients have recovered in Kohima while one person died due to infection. With this, a total of



10,666 people have recovered from the infection while there are 628 active Corona cases in Nagaland. The recovery rate in the State is 92.92 per cent.
 
Of the total 70 registered deaths in the State, 60 have died due to the infection, 7 deaths are not related to COVID while 3 deaths are under investigation. A total of 115 affected people have migrated to other States.
