87 new Coronavirus cases reported in Maharashtra

87 new coronavirus cases and two deaths due to the virus were reported in Maharashtra. According to the state health department press release, Mumbai recorded 19 cases, whereas Pune city and Sangli district reported one fatality each. As of yesterday, there are 265 Covid 19 active cases in the state. The tally of JN1 variant cases in the state reached to 10 today. Of these five are from Thane, two from Pune



city and one each from Pune rural area Akola and Sindhudurg.

 

According to State Health Department, out of these 10 patients, nine are Male and one Female. Eight of these patients have received both doses of the covid vaccine. It said, all patients are in home isolation, had mild symptoms, and have recovered
