Kerala on Thursday recorded 94 new confirmed cases of infection and 3 more coronavirus-related deaths. The development was the highest single-day spike in confirmed cases in Kerala since the Covid-19 outbreak was first reported on January 30.
The state's Covid-19 graph has been on the rise since May 8. At present, 884 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals
across Kerala and 690 have recovered from the infection.
Kerala's Health Department stated that 39 more patients in the state recovered from Covid-19 between Wednesday night and Thursday evening.
Among those who tested positive for the infection on Thursday, 47 returned from abroad and 37 arrived from other states while seven people were infected by contacts
