947 new Covid-19 cases reported in Karnataka

In Karnataka,947 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported while 235 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery during the last twenty four hours. 20 corona deaths were reported during this period.

According to State Health and Family Welfare report,  among the new cases, 503 are from Bengaluru, 61 from Ballary, 49 from Haveri, 44 from Dakshina Kannada and 40 from Uttara Kannada District.

The total number of affected people has 



reached 15,242 while the total number of recovered patients has risen to 7918 in the State.

7074 active cases are under treatment in various hospitals in the State.

The Covid death toll has reached 246 in the state. 271 patients including 171 from Bengaluru  are in ICU.

15,588 swab samples were tested in various districts taking the total number of tests to 6,20,747 in the state.
