957 new Covid-19 cases reported in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, for the first time in eight months less than 1000 cases of covid -19 were reported yesterday. The State yesterday reported 957 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of persons tested positive for Covid 19 infection in the State so far to 8,16,132.

 

According to the daily bulletin released by the State



Health department, as many as 12 Covid-19 patients died yesterday, taking the total number of fatalities in the State due to the pandemic to 12,092.

 

On the recovery side, 1065 patients were discharged yesterday. With this, the total number of recoveries in the State has touched 7,95,293.
