960 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Gujarat

New cases of Covid-19 detected during the last 24 hours in Gujarat have dropped below the one thousand mark. 960 new cases were recorded in the state yesterday.

 

The recovery rate has further improved to 93.28 percent. The total number of Covid19 cases detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2 lakh 36 thousand 259. Out of these, 2 lakh 20 thousand 393 patients recovered. 1268 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. 

 

More than 91 lakh 8 thousand tests have been carried out in the



state till date.  Maximum 211 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 150 new cases.

 

At present total active cases in the state are 11625, out of which 66 patients are on ventilator. 7 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 4241.

 

Meanwhile, following the ease of covid19 situation in Ahmedabad, Municipal Corporation run SVP Hospital has decided to resume the services of other medical branches from today.
