989 new Covid-19 cases reported in Manipur

Imphal: In Manipur, 989 persons including two personnel of the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases during the last 24 hours.

 

These cases were detected among the 4,888 samples tested for the virus.

 

On the other hand, nine people expired due to COVID-19 positive in the last 24  hours.

 

All of them did not take the  COVID vaccination. The number of cumulative deaths is



1,487.

 

Meanwhile, 1,037 COVID-19 patients were discharged during the 24 hours.

 

The total number of recovered cases is 81,645 and the total positive case is 93,656.

 

The recovery rate is 87.17 per cent. The number of active cases stands at 10,524.

 

The number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered till yesterday is 12,05,743 including 1,66,529 second doses.
