A&N islands reports 38 new Covid-19 cases

In Andaman and Nicobar Islands, one more death due to COVID-19 occurred while 38 fresh positive cases were reported. They all are among contacts.

Now, a total of 428 cases of COVID-19 reported in the islands, out of which 201 patients recovered while 225 are still



active.

Two deaths have been reported so far. DC South Andaman issued an order to permit devotees to offer prayers on Eid-Ul-Zuha falling on 1st of August.

The Administration has decided to impose weekly lockdown on Sat-Sun till further order.
