Andhra Pradesh's COVID-19 infection count over 5.2 lakh with 10,418 COVID-19 cases

The coronavirus graph of Andhra Pradesh continued its progression on a steep incline and reached 5,27,512 on Wednesday as 10,418 cases were added anew.

The latest bulletin said 9,842 patients had recovered in 24 hours ending 9 am on Wednesday, while 74 more succumbed to the pandemic in the state.

The number of active



cases in the state rose to 97,271 after a total of 4,25,607 patients recovered and 4,634 died.

Adding 1,399 in 24 hours, East Godavari crossed the 70,000 cases mark while Kurnool inched closer to the 50,000 mark, the top two districts in the state.

Chittoor crossed 45,500 and SPS Nellore district 40,000 cases on Wednesday.
