Around 2,99,299 beneficiaries vaccinated in 28 States and UTs

The Union Health Ministry yesterday said that around 2,99,299 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in 28 States and Union Territories. Addressing the media in New Delhi, Additional Health Secretary Dr Manohar Agnani said, with this, a total of 23,28,779 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far through 41,599 vaccine



sessions. 

He said, no case of serious or severe Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFIs) attributable to vaccination till date. He said, a total of 9 deaths have been reported till date and none of them have been linked with COVID-19 vaccination.
