Assam records 2596 new COVID-19 cases

Assam tested a total of 35175 persons for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, out of which 2595 people have tested positive for the deadly virus on Saturday.

With a positivity rate of 7.38 per cent, the

total COVID-19 cases in Assam now stands at 155453.

Till the filing of this report, 123684 patients were discharged from the various hospital across the state and the total active cases stand at 31218.
