Assam reports 28 new coronavirus cases

With 28 new cases of Covid-19, Assam's total tally on Tuesday crossed the 1500-mark. The state, as on June 2, has a total of 1,513 coronavirus cases.

Of the new cases, 12 have been reported from Nagaon district, 10 cases from Golaghat,



one case from Jorhat district, and five cases from the Assam Airport.

Confirming the report, Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted - "28 new cases of #COVID19+. 12 Nagaon, 10 Golaghat, 1 Jorhat, 5 from Airport. Total cases 1513."
