Assam tally counts to 170 with 13 new postive cases of COVID-19

The surge of Covid-19 positive cases has continuing unabated in Assam as 13 new positive cases for the new virus have reported in the state on Wednesday.

With the new 13 cases, the state tally for Covid-19 cases has now increased to 170.

Sarma said that out of the new cases, eight cases were detected from the Hojai district while two cases from Sonitpur district and one each from Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup and Nagaon district.

On Tuesday, 42 Covid-19 positive cases had been detected in the state and it is the highest single-day spike of the state.
