Bihar reports 13 new corona cases

In Bihar, number of Corona positive cases has gone up to 126 with 13 new cases yesterday. Out of 13 new cases, seven have been reported from Munger and four from Buxar. One case each has been reported from Patna and Rohtas. 42 persons have been completely cured of the disease.

The Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked people not to panic because of the sudden rise in positive cases as most of these cases are linked to an infected person.



He said, the State government is maintaining a close vigil on the situation and all necessary steps are being taken. He also called upon people to practice social distancing to defeat the COVID-19.

Meanwhile, 1328 FIRs have been registered against lockdown violators and 1184 persons have been arrested. Over 33 thousand vehicles have also been seized and about eight crores were collected as fine.
