Bihar reports 2,078 fresh Corona cases during past 24 hours

In Bihar, 2,078 fresh Corona cases were reported during the past 24 hours.

The state conducted one lakh 7,730 tests on Sunday. 2,231 patients recovered on Sunday, taking the state's recovery rate to 86.88 per cent, which is 10 per cent more than national average.

Altogether 1,17,305 patients have recovered in the state so far.

Active cases are declining



following rise in recovery.

17,019 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals at present. Positive cases mounted to 1,35,013.

Maximum 20,889 cases reported from Patna followed by 5,879 in Muzaffarpur and 5,409 in Bhagalpur.

The death toll due to COVID-19 in the state has risen to 688.
