Chhattisgarh reports 1,209 new Coronavirus cases

In Chhattisgarh, 20 thousand tests will be conducted daily from the month of September to identify Corona positive patients. At present, 10 to 12 thousand samples are being tested per day. Replying to the debate on adjournment motion in the state assembly yesterday, State Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo said that more than 22 thousand quarantine centers have been set up in the state, of which 778 are in urban areas. He said that all arrangements for the treatment of COVID-19 infected persons are being made by the state government.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel assured that all the suggestions regarding prevention and control of corona



infection given by the members during the debate will be forwarded to the Central Government. The house had unanimously expressed its gratitude to Corona warriors for their tireless service.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh has reported 1209 fresh COVID-19 cases yesterday, taking the tally of confirmed cases to 24,550. Ten  people succumbed to the disease.

According to the state health department,  Chhattisgarh now has  10,174 active cases.  Fourteen thousand one hundred and forty five people have been discharged after recovery while 231 have died so far.
