Corona infected cases cross 600 marks in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, the number of corona infected people has crossed 600 marks while 48 people have died so far. The number of corona infected patients has increased to 142 in Bhopal. Similarly, in Indore, 362 people have been infected so far.Meanwhile, home-made masks will be provided to the labourers working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme-MNREGA in the state to protect them from corona virus infection.

 

Home-made masks are being prepared by the women self-help groups working under the Rural Livelihood Mission in the state. The Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development, Manoj Shrivastava informed that 2 lakh 87 thousand self help groups are working under the mission. The women members of these groups



have been advised to prepare masks. The masks produced by them have been named 'Home-Made Masks'. So far, over 25 lakh 42 thousand masks have already been prepared by these groups.

 

In addition to this, more than 26 thousand liter sanitizer and 3 thousand PPE kits have also been prepared. These groups have also produced around 52 thousand hand wash soaps. On the other hand, the teams of alternative systems of medicine have joined the fight against the corona virus. Following the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Ayurvedic doctors are distributing immunity boosting medicines to the common people. Homeopathy medicines are also being given in some areas.
