Country's Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 97.30 per cent

The Country has touched a new milestone in its fight against Corona pandemic by administering over 1 crore doses of COVID vaccine in a span of just over a month. Over 6 lakh 58 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 recovery rate in the country has also improved to 97.30 per cent.    

The Health Ministry said, in the last 24 hours, 10 thousand 896 people were discharged after recovery. Till now, over one crore



six lakh 67 thousand people have recovered from the COVID-19 infection. In the last 24 hours, 13 thousand 193 new cases were reported.

The country continues to witness a gradual decrease in the number of active cases which stands at merely 1.27 per cent. The Health Ministry has informed that 97 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours due to COVID-19 taking the cumulative toll at 1 lakh 56 thousand one hundred 11.
