COVID-19: 27 new cases reported in Telangana

The State health authorities have reported 27 new Covid-19 positive cases, 58 discharges and one Covid-19 related fatality on Thursday in Telangana.

The total number of coronavirus positive cases stood at 970 while the number of patients who have recovered and were discharged in the State is 262.

As on Thursday, there are 693 active Covid-19 cases who are admitted to Gandhi Hospital and barring a few, almost all



of them are in a stable condition. The one fatality that was reported today has taken the overall number of deaths in the State to 25.

“We are doing our best to strictly implement lockdown measures across all the containment zones. We are hoping that in the next three to four days, we should be able to control the spread of the coronavirus in Telangana,” Health Minister, Eatala Rajender said.
