Hyderabad: Telangana reported 894 new Covid-19 infections and 10 fatalities till Sunday night, taking the overall toll to 703 and the cumulative number of positive cases to 92,255. The total number of active cases as on Sunday night in the State was 21,420.

As many as 2,006 persons in the State have recovered between Saturday and Sunday night, pushing the overall number of recoveries in the State to 70,132 with a recovery rate of 76.01 per cent while the countrywide recovery rate is at 71.91 per cent. According to the health bulletin, the mortality in the State is 0.76 per cent while the countrywide figure is 1.93 per cent

Out of the 21,420 active Covid positive patients, as many as 14,404 Covid-19 positive patients are under home isolation across the State while 7,016 positive cases are in institutional care.

Officials conducted 8,794 Covid-19 tests till Sunday night while results of



421 more swab samples are pending. So far, 7,53,349 swab samples have been tested in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic out of which 92,255 have tested positive and 70,132 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 10 from Adilabad, nine from Bhadradri, 147 from areas under GHMC, 31 from Jagtiyal, seven from Jangaon, 21 from Gadwal, seven from Kamareddy, 69 from Karimnagar, 44 from Khammam, 11 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 30 from Mahabubnagar, 31 from Mahabubabad, 17 from Mancherial, eight from Medak, 51 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 15 from Nagarkurnool, 37 from Nalgonda, 38 from Nizamabad, 62 from Peddapally, two from Siricilla, 85 from Rangareddy, 29 from Sangareddy, 58 from Siddipet, 12 from Suryapet, one from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, nine from Warangal Rural, 44 from Warangal Urban and one from Yadadri Bhongir.
