Covid-19 active caseload goes down to 26,891 in Odisha

In Odisha, the covid-19 active caseload has further gone down to 26891. With the recovery of 3342 patients during the last 24 hours, the cumulative recovery has increased to 2,27,615.

While the virus is far from taking a turnaround in the state, it continues to trail behind the number of patients getting cured everyday. As against a daily infection of less than 3000, the daily recovery has been on the higher side of 3000



during the last few days.

Though the cumulative caseload crossed 2.5 lakh mark yesterday, the infection is active for only less than 27000 patients as on date.

Meanwhile the state government, actively chasing the virus, has been appealing to the people having cough, cold and fever to volunteer for covid-19 test to ensure an early exit for the virus.
