In Bihar, the recovery rate of Covid 19 has reached 78 percent. This is 4 percent more than the national average. With the increase of discharge rate of Covid patients from hospital the active case dropped to 25 thousand 241. Altogether 91 thousand 841 people have recovered so far across the state, 3628 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of tests has crossed 22 lakh in the state. Positive cases mounted to 1 lakh 17,671 with fresh cases of 2461. The COVID-19 death toll in Bihar rose to

Meanwhile, the state government has allowed the Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH) Patna to start plasma therapy from today to treat critically ill Covid patients.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar instructed health officials to increase the number of RT-PCR tests across the state to check the further spread of Covid 19 virus.While holding a review meeting Mr Kumar asked officials to ensure availability of more RT-PCR machines so that the testing speed could be ramped up.
