In Madhya Pradesh, more than 30 thousand tests for Corona were conducted for the second consecutive day.
At the same time, the number of patients recovering in the state is more than the number of infected persons for the sixth successive day.
The number of new infections in the state has also come down to 17,00 patients per day.
Also, nearly after a month, the overall positivity rate was reduced to around 5 percent.
A total of 30,796 samples were tested on Thursday while the positivity rate means the number of people testing positive per 100
samples stood at 5.5 percent.
It was also the seven consecutive days, when the number of people recovering from the corona, outnumbered those testing positive.
With 2, 420 people beating the virus on Thursday, the tally of recoveries reached to more than 1.22 lakh.
On the other hand, the death toll in the state reached 2,547.
With 469 people testing positive, Indore reported the highest number of cases, followed by Bhopal with 219 cases and Jabalpur with 132 new cases of COVID-19 infections.
