COVID-19: Indonesia reports 275 new cases, 23 new death

Jakarta: The government of Indonesia announced on Sunday  275 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 8,882.

Addressing a press conference here, government spokesperson for COVID-19-related matters Achmad



Yurianto said that there were also 23 new deaths, taking the total number of fatalities to 743.

Mr. Yurianto also said that as many as 65 more people have been discharged from hospitals after their recoveries, taking the total number of recovered patients to 1,107.
