Kuwait on Sunday reported 183 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total infections to 3,075 and death toll to 20, the Health Ministry said in a statement. Among the new cases were 19 Kuwaiti citizens, who returned from Britain, France, and Belgium, and one Indian resident, who
returned from France, the statement said, adding that 149 new cases were contacts with infected patients.
The cause of the infection for the other 14 is still under investigation, it noted, adding that the new deaths included a 57-year-old Iranian resident.
