In Karnataka, COVID 19 positive cases have gone up to 83, which includes three deaths and five discharges. Seven new cases were confirmed yesterday, out of which five are persons working in the Pharmaceutical company in Nanjangud near Mysuru. 75 COVID 19 positive patients who are in isolation at designated hospitals are stable.
 
At present there are 14,115 persons are enrolled for observation, out of them 228 are quarantined at health facilities, 3170 samples are collected for testing and 2874 out of them are negative and 83 have come positive.
 
Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has appealed to Doctors in the private sector to give



missed call to 080-47192219 to help the Government in conducting tele-medicine services. The Government has requested the public to call helpline 104 Arogya Sahayavani for any COVID 19 related queries.
 
Dakshin Kannada incharge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has informed that two months ration will be given free of cost to the card holders under PDS system from second of next month. 

In another decision taken by the Government  yesterday that Mosques have been asked to create awareness about preventive measures on Corona Virus through their loudspeakers.
