The coronavirus count in Madhya Pradesh rose to 11,069 with the addition of 134 new cases in the last 24 hours. Eleven COVID-19 patients lost their lives during this period, taking the number of fatalities in the state to 476. Till now 8,152 people have become cured in Madhya Pradesh. No new coronavirus case was reported in 31 districts yesterday.
Bhopal reported 48 new cases, followed by 21 in Indore, which is one of the COVID-19 hotspots in the country. The number of cases in Indore, the
worst-hit district in the state, rose to 4,090. The state capital Bhopal has so far reported 2 thousand 283 COVID-19 patients.
Meanwhile, About 25 lakh 16 thousand labourers are getting employment in about two lakh works under MNREGA in the state. This number has almost doubled since last year. New job cards have been provided to more than 8 lakh 38 thousand labourers in the state under Shram Siddhi Abhiyan.
