Covid-19 recovery cases crosses two lakh mark in Odisha

Odisha has crossed another milestone in covid-19 recovery by crossing the two lakh mark. With the recovery of 4108 cases yesterday, the total number of patients recovered from the infection so far has gone up to 202 302.

Covid-19 positive cases continue to trail behind recovered cases in the state for over 10 days in a row. As per the report yesterday, new recovery has charged ahead of new infection by a margin of about 800 cases. Yet



another aspect of the viral spread yesterday is that as many as 17 districts out of the total 30 have reported less than hundred cases each.

Though the cumulative caseload of the state has crossed 2 lakh 32 thousand by now,  the incremental recovery has squeezed the active cases further down to about 33 thousand five hundred from a high of about 40 thousand, a week ago.
