Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 65% in West Bengal

In West Bengal another 624 people  tested  positive  for  Corona in the last 24 hours in the State. With this 17,907 people have been infected by the virus so far. According to the State Health Department sources 14 persons  died of the disease during the period taking the death toll to 653. Altogether 5,535 Corona positive patients are under treatment at different hospitals .

Meanwhile, 526 such patients were released



from hospitals after recovery in the last 24 hours. The rate of recovery of Corona positive patients has improved to 65 percent.

The West Bengal Government has decided to form Corona warriors clubs in the State. Announcing this at the State Secretariat yesterday the Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee said that the clubs will be formed with those who have recovered from Corona infections .
