Covid-19 Updates: India's tally of positive cases crosses 7,700; death toll at 252

The death toll due to the novel coronavirus rose to 252 and the number of cases climbed to 7,621 in the country on Saturday after registering a record jump of 1035 cases a day before. India is under the biggest lockdown in its history with all 1.3 billion people asked to stay home for three weeks in view of the coronavirus disease which has claimed more than 250 lives and infected over 7,000 people across the country. The worldwide coronavirus loss of life bested 100,000 on Friday as Easter festivals around the globe commenced in close void places of worship with billions of individuals adhered inside to stop the

Seven additional individuals test positive in Karnataka. State count 214. Out of the new cases, five are from Mysuru, one from Bidar, and one from Bengaluru. The quantity of released went up from 34 to 37 with three progressively released.
