Covid-19 vaccination reaches 145.44 crore doses in India

New Delhi: A total of 1,525 cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 have been reported so far in the country. Omicron cases have been reported from 23 States and Union Territories. Out of these, 560 patients have already recovered. Maximum of 460 cases have been reported from Maharashtra followed by Delhi with 351 cases.

Health and Family Welfare Ministry yesterday said that over 145.44 crore doses of COVID vaccines have been



administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive. More than 25 lakh 75 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. Over nine thousand Covid patients have recovered during the same period. National recovery rate stands at 98.27 per cent.  

The country has reported over 27 thousand new Covid cases in the last 24 hours.
