Covid active cases reach over 7,000 in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, the number of covid positive cases increased to 1,243 yesterday. The total number of active cases has reached more than seven thousand. Director of medical education Dr. Narayanababu said that hospitals admissions have gone up in Chennai, Coimbatore, Chengelpet, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Tirupur and Thanjavur



in the last one week.

 

Dean of Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital Dr. E. Theranirajan said that most people who tested and treated recovered quickly but some who came to the hospital were breathless because the virus had invaded and had started damaging the lungs.
