Daily Covid-19 cases cross 1,000-mark in Kerala

In Kerala, the  Covid-19 graph is beginning to rise with daily cases crossing the 1000-mark. The State yesterday logged one thousand 370 positive cases and six hundred 30 recoveries. Ernakulam district reported the highest daily caseload of 463 followed by Thiruvananthapuram 239.

The number of daily cases in Kottayam, Thrissur and Kozhikode districts also crossed three-digit. The daily caseload in



the State has more than doubled in the last 10 days.  

This is the first time after two months the number of daily cases has surpassed thousand in Kerala which bore the brunt of the pandemic since it's outbreak in early 2,020.

According to official data, Kerala's active cases have spiked to six thousand 129.
