In Bihar, the death toll due to COVID-19 has gone up to 73 with reporting of six more deaths. Three deaths were from Patna and one each death from Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi and Samastipur. The number of positive cases has mounted to 10 thousand 205. While 7,811 people have so far been cured and the recovery rate has been increased to 77 per cent. At present, 2,319 patients are undergoing treatment in
various hospitals.
In view of Corona, the State Government has issued instructions to suspend Shravani Mela in different parts of the state during the month of Sawan. Shiva temples across to the state will be closed till 4th of August. Devotees have been requested to do Pooja celebration at their home in place of temples.
