Delhi logs 11,491 new COVID-19 infections, over 70 more deaths

Delhi reported 11,491 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Monday, its highest single-day tally of fresh cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year.

The discharge of another 7,665 patients has pushed the tally of recovered patients in Delhi to



6,87,238.

In the last 24 hours, 92,397 samples were tested for Covid-19 in the national capital, including 65,564 RT-PCR tests. Delhi has tested 1,56,50,640 samples to date.

Out of the samples tested, a total of 7,36,688 have returned positive for the novel coronavirus.
