A day after Assam recorded the highest of 87 COVID-19 cases on a single day, four fresh cases have been reported in the state on Sunday, a senior minister said. With this there are total 350 COVID-19 positive cases in the state. Of the 350, 286 are active cases, while 57 have recovered, four have died and three migrated out of the
state.
"Four new COVID19+ confirmed. Two from Chirang, at Tezpur quarantine centre; two from Jorhat with travel history to Chennai", Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
The state has so far carried out 55,862 tests which the minister claimed was higher than that of Kerala.
