Gujarat: Covid-19 cases rise by 549 to 28,429

In Gujarat, the number of Covid-19 cases has gone up to 28,429 after 549 new cases came up yesterday. 26 patients lost their lives in the state yesterday taking the total death to 1,711. Meanwhile, 604 patients discharged from various hospitals yesterday, taking the total number of patients recovered from Covid19 in the state to 20,521.

According to official sources, out of 6197 active



cases in the state, the conditions of 62 patients are critical and on ventilator support. Out of 549 new cases reported yesterday, the maximum 230 cases reported from Ahmedabad. Apart from this, 152 new cases reported from Surat, while 38 cases reported from Vadodara. More than 3 lakh 34 thousand Covid-19 tests were carried out in the state till date.
