Gujarat logs 20,966 new Covid-19 cases

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has reported 20966 new cases of Covid19 infections during the last 24 hours. 8391 new cases were recorded in Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 3318 new cases. The state has 90,726 active cases at present, out of these 125 patients are on ventilator support. 12 patients lost their lives due to Covid19



yesterday.

Meanwhile, 2 lakh 2 thousand 592 doses of vaccine were administered in Gujarat yesterday. The total number of doses of vaccines administered in the state till now has crossed 9 crore 55 lakh mark. Ahmedabad Municipal corporation has declared 19 new micro containment zones yesterday.
